Well, not exactly self-taught. I’ve taken countless courses, deep-dived into practice management systems, and learned the ins and outs of client care workflows from the best in the field.

But truth be told, the skills I use every day? I learned them by doing—supporting busy clinicians, problem-solving on the fly, and creating systems that actually work in real life (not just in theory).

I started Free Range VA while juggling a fur-baby burnout, coffee, and business admin chaos, and I haven’t looked back since.

These days, I call myself a virtual admin assistant—but really, I’m a scheduler, a document wrangler, a calm-in-the-storm kind of support person. I help allied health professionals finally breathe again.

Before launching this biz, I wore a hundred different hats in my past roles. When I hit burnout and realised life’s too short to do work that doesn’t light you up, I narrowed in on what I do best: making other people’s lives easier.
